Charlie Adlard, renowned for his iconic work on the hit comic series and AMC adaptation The Walking Dead, has now turned his creative focus to a passion project closer to home—capturing the vibrant coffee shop scene of Shrewsbury.
The Soden Collection is honored and thrilled to present the upcoming exhibition, “Coffee Shop” by the acclaimed artist Charlie Adlard.
This exhibition will feature a captivating array of original artworks alongside exclusive limited edition prints from Charlie Adlard’s latest book, Coffee Shop.

Coffee Shop beautifully encapsulates the essence of café culture, from the hiss of the espresso machine to the fleeting moments of conversation, half-raised cups, and the artistry of barista swirls.
We are particularly excited to announce that all profits from this exhibition will be donated to Shrewsbury’s arts charity, The Hive, a cause close to Charlie’s heart as a patron. In celebration of The Hive’s 25th anniversary, a special collection of prints in an edition of 25 will also be available for purchase, with proceeds going directly to support their invaluable work.
To mark this extraordinary occasion, we invite you to join us for a private exhibition viewing on Friday, 4th October, from 6pm. RSVP is essential for this exclusive event. Additionally, there will be a book signing on Saturday, 5th October, where you’ll have the opportunity to purchase the Coffee Shop book, acquire artwork, and meet the artist himself.
