We are proud to present The RBA Collection, an exclusive exhibition in partnership with the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA). This exhibition is the result of a close collaboration with the RBA and reflects our shared ambition to bring outstanding British art to new audiences here in Shrewsbury.
The idea for this exhibition came about through conversations with the society’s leadership, who warmly supported the proposal of showcasing selected members’ works outside of London. While RBA artists are traditionally exhibited at the prestigious Mall Galleries in the capital, this exhibition offers the rare opportunity to experience their work in the heart of Shropshire.
For us at the Soden Collection, it is a genuine privilege to host such a distinguished exhibition. The RBA has a remarkable history of excellence dating back to 1823 and continues to be home to some of the UK’s most accomplished artists. To bring this heritage and talent to Shrewsbury is both an honour and a milestone for our gallery.
