Simon James Rowley

Simon Rowley graduated from the Slade School of Art in 2008, receiving the Arts and Humanities Research Council Award in 2006. His work is predominantly conceptual and has encompassed sculptural installation, painting, and site-specific drawing projects.

He sees art making as a form of existential enquiry, a confessional exploration of thoughts that occur in response to socio-political events of interest and meaningful encounters with others.
