We delve into the life of being a screen print artist. We speak about lockdowns, the challenges that this has inflicted on life as an artist, working in a shared print studio and her inspirations for her work that lead back to the age of 6 when her family took a trip to Kathmandu.
Retrospective: “Calming Horizontals”
September 30th – November 10th
Born in Liverpool in 1931. Eric won a scholarship to Liverpool Grammar school then later secured a grant to attend Liverpool Art School. He was then awarded a scholarship to study in Italy at Florence Art School for 1 year. Eric then went on to Cardiff College of Art as a full time lecturer and also worked as Art critic at The Times, Eric married and moved to Shropshire where he was was inspired and painted landscapes of the Shropshire countryside and “calming horizontals”.
