Hands of a genius

Graham Short

World Exclusive

THE MOST TALENTED LIVING MICRO- ARTIST IN THE WORLD

Graham Short is a micro-artist, living and working in Birmingham. Known as “The Hands of Genius” for his miniature masterpieces.

He has spent over 50 years going to physical and mental extremes to produce the highest-quality hand engravings ever seen.

50 YEARS IN THE MAKING

Working at midnight to avoid vibration from passing traffic, his right arm is strapped to the bench, allowing only his fingertips to move.

Every few months botox injections are administered around his eyes to keep the muscles and nerves rigid.

He takes tablets throughout the night to lower his heart-rate to 20 beats per minute – then using a stethoscope he monitors his heart and begins to engrave with very fine custom needle – between heartbeats!

His extreme way of working never ceases to amaze people! He is an obsessive – a one-off.

“One of the most exciting miniature artists of the moment.”
